1. Why this policy exists
Belacsbox hosts websites for small businesses and creators. We have zero tolerance for sites that harm people. This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every account, site, page, post, image, link, form and AI request on the Service.
2. Not allowed
You may not use Belacsbox to create, publish, link to or promote:
- Scams and fraud: fake shops, investment or crypto schemes, fake giveaways, advance-fee and impersonation scams.
- Phishing: pages that pretend to be another company or person, or that try to collect passwords, bank or card details. Sites on Belacsbox cannot contain password or card fields at all.
- Malware: viruses, spyware, malicious downloads or links to them.
- Child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises minors. See section 7.
- Pornography and sexual services, including sexually explicit images or video.
- Illegal drugs and the sale of weapons, explosives or other goods that are illegal where they are sold.
- Violence and hate: threats, content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar characteristics.
- Harassment, doxxing, or sharing someone's private or intimate images without consent.
- Infringement of copyright, trademarks or other rights, including counterfeit goods.
- Deceptive business practices: fake reviews or testimonials, misleading claims, or hidden fees.
- Spam: sending email without consent, or using our forms or sign-up lists to collect addresses for spam.
- Anything else that is illegal where you or your visitors are, or that puts people's safety at risk.
3. Misusing the Service
- Do not try to access other accounts, probe or break our security, or get around our limits or safety checks.
- Do not overload the Service, run automated sign-ups, or use free trials to host throwaway sites.
- Do not use AI writing help to create content this policy bans, to copy another brand, or to make fake login pages.
- Do not resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.
4. How we check sites
Before a site or change goes live, it passes automated checks of its text, images and links. Links are checked against known phishing and malware lists, including Google Web Risk and our own blocklist, and known child sexual abuse images are detected by matching against industry hash lists. A clear failure blocks the publish; a borderline result is held for a person to review. Links are checked again when sites change.
5. Reporting a site
Every site built with Belacsbox has a "Report" link. You can also email abuse@belacsbox.com with the web address and what is wrong. See Report a site. We confirm receipt, review the report, and tell you what we decided. Urgent reports, such as phishing or child safety, are handled first.
6. What we do
Depending on how serious the problem is, we may remove content, take a site offline worldwide, suspend or close an account, block the person from signing up again, and keep records as evidence. Where the law allows and it is safe to do so, we tell the site owner what we did, which rule was broken, and how to appeal. We do not refund payments for accounts closed for breaking this policy, except where the law requires.
Where there is a threat to someone's life or safety, or where the law requires it, we report to police or other authorities.
7. Child sexual abuse material
As required by Canada's Act respecting the mandatory reporting of Internet child pornography by persons who provide an Internet service, when we are told of or find material that may be child sexual abuse material, we report it to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Cybertip.ca), notify police where we have reasonable grounds to believe an offence was committed, preserve the evidence as the law requires, and remove access to it immediately. The account is closed permanently.
8. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, reply to our notice or email abuse@belacsbox.com within 30 days. A person who was not involved in the first decision will review it and tell you the outcome.
